Thank you for choosing The Baking Mum! Every order baked in small batches and carefully packed to ensure it reaches you in the best possible condition.
Please review our shipping and local delivery terms below before placing your order. By placing an order to agree to all terms and conditions.
1. Talking Brownies (Australia-Wide Shipping)
- Talking Brownies are shipped Australia-wide via Express Post to ensure maximum freshness.
- Each box is individually shrink-wrapped and sealed to lock in freshness and protect your brownies during transit.
- Orders are typically dispatched within 24 to 48 hours after your order has been received and confirmed.
- Dispatch days are Monday to Thursday only.
- We do not ship on Fridays, to avoid parcels sitting in transit over the weekend.
- Orders placed after Thursday will be shipped the following Monday.
No cutoff applies for Talking Brownies.
You can place your order any day of the week — it will simply be shipped on the next available dispatch day (Monday–Thursday).
Once your parcel has been lodged, you will receive an Australia Post tracking number via email.
Please note that delivery times may vary depending on your location, and once dispatched, The Baking Mum is not responsible for postal delays or handling by third-party couriers.
2. Local Delivery (Signature Cakes & Brownies)
- We currently offer local delivery within Wyndham area, Victoria.
- Order by 6pm for next-day delivery.
- We do local deliveries from Monday to Sunday between 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Please ensure someone is available to receive the order at the delivery address. Due to food safety, temperature sensitivity, and hygiene considerations, orders will not be left unattended. If no one is available to receive the delivery, the order will be returned. A re-delivery will need to be arranged, and a $15 re-delivery fee will apply.
3. Handling and Freshness
All products leave our kitchen in excellent condition.
Because our items are perishable and temperature-sensitive, please unpack and store them as soon as they arrive.
- Cakes: Refrigerate immediately and serve at room temperature for best results.
- Brownies: Store in a cool, dry place or refrigerate for extended freshness.
The Baking Mum cannot take responsibility for damage caused by improper handling, incorrect storage, or delays after delivery.
4. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
Please double-check your delivery address at checkout.
If an incorrect address is entered, we are not responsible for lost parcels or delays.
If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address, a new order needs to be placed in order for it to be shipped again as our items are perishable.
5. Liability
Once a parcel or delivery has been handed over to Australia Post or successfully delivered to your address, responsibility transfers to the customer.
We are unable to refund or replace items that are delayed, lost, or damaged due to mishandling during transit.
